Who We Are
About Us
Built by a psychologist who needed this tool himself.
Origins
The Story
grounded.ninja emerged from a personal frustration: reading philosophy and psychology extensively but struggling to bridge the gap between wisdom and practice.
The books made sense. The concepts resonated. But the insight faded by morning. The patterns repeated. Something was missing between understanding and actually living differently.
So we built the space we needed. A place where reflection meets dialogue, where values connect to daily action, and where AI companions remember the journey and help draw out insight rather than dispensing generic advice.
Now we're sharing it.

Principles
Our Values
Privacy First
Your thoughts are yours alone. Your reflections are never sold or shared, every account is isolated at the database level, and you can delete anything you have written at any time.
Depth Over Data
We're not optimizing for engagement metrics. We're building tools for genuine self-knowledge, even if that means fewer clicks.
Evidence-Based
Every exercise is built on a named framework — ACT, motivational interviewing, Stoic practice, depth psychology — and we say on the Psychology Foundations page how much evidence each of them actually has. They don't all have the same amount.
Focus
Our Commitment
We're building for depth, not scale.
Integrity
over growth
Integration
over features
Meaning
over metrics
This is a practice for Reflective Practitioners: people who read widely but want to live differently. If that's you, you're in the right place.
