A dojo for the mind
To Know Yourself is a Practice
It's time for a dialogue.
You're trying your best in an ever-evolving world.
Learning, growing, working, connecting. The past has shaped you, the future is uncertain, and you're left with a never-ending flow of challenges. Some you can handle, others feel overwhelming.
If this resonates, you're in the right place.
You read the books. You know the philosophy.
But knowing and living are different things. The wisdom stays on the page. The insight fades by morning. That gap between understanding and living? That's what we're here to bridge.
Not through more reading. Through practice.
This is your Dojo for the Mind
A space where reflection meets dialogue, and dialogue becomes transformation. Capture your raw thoughts, then take them into conversation with wise perspectives who know your journey.
A dojo for the mind
How the practice works
A space to train the two complementary practices of wisdom: zooming out to break a frame and zooming in to deepen it.
Zoom Out and Capture
First, you capture your fuzzy logic (the raw thoughts, feelings, and ideas of your inner world). This is the essential practice of breaking the frame, creating a quiet space to see your own patterns without judgment.
Zoom In and Deepen
This is where everything changes. You take your reflection into dialogue with a Sage, a wise companion trained in philosophical and psychological traditions. They don't tell you what to think. They help you discover what you already know but couldn't quite see.
Dialogue
Dialogue That Draws Out Your Wisdom
The ancient philosophers knew something we've forgotten: wisdom isn't learned from books. It's participated in. Through dialogue with perspectives that challenge and deepen your own.
Our Sages (Marcus Aurelius, Carl Jung, bell hooks, and others) don't give you answers. Like Socrates, they help birth the insight already within you. They ask the question that makes you pause. They sit with the tension you'd rather resolve too quickly.
The Cycle of Wisdom
It's the engine that powers your entire Dojo:
Start in The Mirror to capture your raw experiences and reveal the hidden stories shaping your reality. Move to The Compass to clarify what truly matters and align your path with your deepest values. Then enter The Dojo to build the daily practices that transform insight into embodied wisdom.

Rooted in Real Wisdom
grounded.ninja wasn't born in a boardroom. It was built by psychologists passionate about the intersection of technology and human flourishing. Our framework draws on concepts from cognitive science, philosophy, and modern psychology to provide a structure that's not just effective, but opens doors for honest reflection and fitingness. We built the tool we wanted for ourselves.

GroundedNinja is built for people who:
Read philosophy and psychology but struggle to apply it
Journal, but find it shallow or repetitive
Want depth, not just productivity
Are curious about yourself and willing to sit with discomfort
